Avino Silver and Gold Mines samples 0.8 m of 5,522 g/t Ag at San Gonzalo ASM.v, EPZ.to, RVM.to, MGN, TNR.v, GRC.to, GBN.v, BVA.v, BCG.v, ALK.ax, NGQ.to, SGC.v, KTN.v

We know Avino Silver for years and we have only one problem with this company - their goal "Resume production as quickly as possible" is in the market for the last five years at least. So far progress was very slow at least. But it is a junior mining silver play, even with sleeping management silver will not be able to slip from the company's property. Question is how much do they actually have? In the beginning of Silver boom years ago they had some kind of a huge bogus number posted of historical resources, which have disappeared with more strict reporting. Now we think with resent silver prices everything with the word silver could fly and Avino Silver definitely has some goods. The most important is that its Mill could justify market value of the company alone. We are pleased to see, finally, good results from ongoing exploration program.

"Avino Silver & Gold Mines is an experienced, Vancouver based mining and exploration firm with properties in Mexico and Canada.

The company's primary goal is to reactivate the Avino silver-gold-copper-zinc-lead mine in Mexico, which Avino operated for 27 years beginning in 1974. Low metal prices and the closure of a key smelter forced the operation to close in 2001.

Current metal markets and high-grade discoveries on the property's San Gonzalo vein have greatly improved the economics and feasibility for potential production.

Since 2007, Avino has invested in extensive rehabilitation and modernization of the mill. A 10,000-tonne bulk sample in 2010 is expected to move the project closer to a production decision.

Our key objectives for 2010:

Execute the San Gonzalo bulk sample program.

Continue developing the San Gonzalo resource

Resume production as quickly as possible

Expand resources, reserves and the mines output

Identify and explore new targets on the property

Avino also holds precious metals properties in British Columbia and the Yukon Territory.

Mr. David Wolfin reports

AVINO ASSAYS UP TO 0.80 M OF 5,522 G/T AG & 1.304 G/T AU AT SAN GONZALO

Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd. has released an update of the continuing underground development at its San Gonzalo project at the Avino property in Durango, Mexico.

Avino's mine contractor, DMG, has been driving two declines, the upper level 1 (2,306-metre elevation) and lower level 2 (2,260-metre elevation). Both levels intersected the San Gonzalo vein, level 2 has intersected the San Gonzalo vein and a splay vein. These are known as San Gonzalo vein 1 (SG1) and San Gonzalo. They are shown on a plan map on Avino's website.

DMG drifted along both San Gonzalo and San Gonzalo 1 on both levels 1 and 2. To the northwest, both levels broke into the old San Gonzalo workings and DMG is now driving a raise to connect the two levels.

Avino is pleased with the minable widths and excellent grades found to date on SG1 in its underground development program. Avino has now outlined the areas on the San Gonzalo vein 1 where stope preparation for production will commence in the next few days. As shown on the plan map on Avino's website the results shown in the attached table are from west to east."

Avino Drills 1.50 Metres, 1,511.8 g/t Silver, 15.77 g/t Gold at San Gonzalo

Another high grade results from recent exploration: capitalisation of this company is roughly equal to its hard assets: equipment and constructions, without any credit for resources at all. Company is in the process of preparing resources estimate. management is definitely pleased with the progress and adding second drill to the property:
"Avino Silver and Gold Mines Ltd. has added a second core drill to its program at the large Avino property located 80kms north east of Durango, Mexico.
The first drill continues to explore the San Gonzalo zone. It is currently drilling Hole 31 at that zone.
The second drill started at the beginning of the month and has currently completed two holes on the ET zone on the main Avino Vein. This is the zone on the main Avino Vein from which the company mined 1975-2001.
A program of 11 holes are planned to explore the ET zone below the 11 1/2 level where production ceased in Nov 2001.
Avino is pleased to announce results of a further four holes at San Gonzalo (20 through 23). (Locations can be viewed on the Avino website)."

It looks like Erick Sprott can not get enough of Avino Silver now and this company is now on fire with Silver market after long time spent in hibernation. It is second investment by Sprott within last couple of months in this company!

"What is the common sense in the so different investment situations: when Erick Sprott buys into Avino Silver, Silver Wheaton buys into Revett Minerals, Lukas Lundin buys into NGeX Resources and invest more to keep its stake in Sunridge Gold, Panasonic buys into Tesla, Tongling buys into Canada Zinc Metals and Nova Gold sells 50% of 1 mil NON 43-101 historical resource of gold at Shotgun for shares of TNR Gold and significantly increase its position in that company? All these situations are common only in one, but very powerful in investment world thing: industry and/or company insiders are buying in. Can they be mistaken - yes, by all means - but we like to follow the "smart" money."

"Finally, we have a positive surprise with Avino Silver - Sprott Asset Management takes position in the company. To pass Sprott's DD means a lot in the Silver market. Erick Sprott is personally very bullish on silver and silver junior miners, you can find his interview with Jim Puplava on his website. Looks like Avino Silver finally has found its footing in this market and gets vote of confidence from Silver market insiders.

"The best store of value is Gold and Silver - the best safe is the mother earth: question is how much do they have exactly and whether management finally has waken up with these silver prices. We have history on our side here: replacement value of the recently modified Mill is more than the market cap of all this junior Silver mining company."

Next stage will be fight for the resources and M&A activity at all stages of investing in Gold mining cycle. With rising Gold price and inflated paper Majors will shop for juniors to buy time and gold in the ground. Jim Puplava will be a very good narrator to all our travel maps and reports about our journey. With rising gold, price price of physical gold will become even more prohibitive, we do agree with Jim that people will start to buy gold mining shares again with their easy to run discount brokerage accounts".

2010-10-13 08:13 ET - News Release

Mr. David Wolfin reports

AVINO STARTS BULK SAMPLE PROGRAM AT SAN GONZALO

Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd. has started its bulk sampling program at the San Gonzalo mine northeast of Durango, Mexico.

Avino's contractor DMG had been developing two raises to connect the lower level 2 (elevation, 2,260 metres) with the upper level 1 (elevation, 2,306 m). The first raise connected Oct. 6 allowing the start of stoping (cut and fill) for the bulk sample. Within four days an initial 731 tonnes had been produced from the block of ground (see map and section on Avino's website) which is estimated to contain approximately 11,000 tonnes.

The rock will be stockpiled for approximately six to eight weeks while the mill completes its present program of flotation concentration of the stockpiled ore from the ET zone of the main Avino vein. Milling operations commenced May 22, 2010, and to Sept. 30, Avino has milled approximately 18,000 tonnes of material to produce an estimated 400 tonnes of concentrate according to the daily mill reports and the on-site lab assays. Of the estimated production, 359 wet tonnes have been trucked to Manzanillo and sold to MRI Trading AG.

The mineral at San Gonzalo is silver, gold, lead and zinc; while ET on the main vein is silver, copper and gold. The rock from ET is harder than the San Gonzalo material and has numerous boulders necessitating additional breakage with a rock breaker ahead of the jaw crusher in the plant.

A planned two-week maintenance schedule has been planned prior to the switchover from stockpiled ET ore with the San Gonzalo material. Maintenance would include changes to all worn and torn conveyor belts and a complete relining of the eight-by-six ball mill.

We seek Safe Harbor."

Avino Silver & Gold Mines ASM.v update

Slowly but surely Avino is moving close to 43-101 resource estimate. Two drills now are working on San Gonzalo deposit on Avino's Durango Mexico Property. Market Cap of the company now representing ONLY the value of production assets without any credit for mineral resources. It looks like a real bargain at this level: stock is totally forgotten and is bottoming out at double bottom.

Gold and Silver: Buy Signal on Daily - Correction Could Be Over tnr.v, ng.to, laq.v, bvg.c, bva.v, grc.to, amm.to, ktn.v, gbn.v, rvm.to, mgn, asm.v, sgc.v, ngq.to, btt.v, alk.ax, fvi.to, mxr.v, sgc.v, ktn.v, epz.v, cuu.v, mgn, nem, fcx, bvn, auy, abx,

We have Buy on Daily for Gold and Silver now. It is not the precise science, but rather the opportunity for the markets to develop the next move. It is in any case not an investment advise, as usual, but we would like to share this observation - let's see what will happen next...

"Our list here, which is for our and your own homework - if you like our ideas about the good time on the road - will be the following: TNR Gold, Goldstone Resources, Revett Minerals, Avino Silver, NGeX Resources, La Quinta Resources, Golden Band Resources, Fortuna Silver, Esperanza Silver, Mines Management, Bitteroot Resources, Max Resource, Copper Fox Metals, Cornerstone Resources, Kootenay Gold, Yamana Gold, Bravo Gold, Bravada Gold, Almaden Minerals, Sunridge Gold.
Most of these stocks have already enjoyed QE party and we had fun with the most of them after summer napping time, others are still in consolidation patterns and some are the clear underdogs - further investigation and DD in the management, properties and potential catalyst on the company level could show, who of them can have the next run."

"We are what we eat" and our financial and regulation authorities must be all eating nuts these days. The guy with 10 million dollars "under management" can control 10% of the U.S. Gold Futures - welcome to post crisis risk management!
This is nothing, but the excuse for the correction in Gold soon to be over - time is to make your shopping list of your favorite juniors. Gold has easily found buyers during recent retracement after incredible run and now is posed for another uphill battle with the wall of worry.
On a daily chart we are at the same level on MACD as we were at the last correction in the beginning of August, just before Gold and junior miner's 2010 home run.
Below on weekly chart we have a strong bullish candle and STO is close to potential reversal - the way how the Gold market held this recent correction provide us with comfort that this Bull is far from over and juniors miners, particularly, will ignite the next leg up.
Geopolitical situation in the Middle East ignited by the uprising Egypt and Oil closing above 100 will spike Inflation fears all around the world -negative real rates during this stagflation phase will provide necessary fundamental support to the gold bull market, silver will bring even more excitement and cherry picked juniors will bring the memories of the fun days just before the crisis.

Canada Zinc Metals drills 9.82 m of 7.69% Zn+Pb at Cardiac czx.v, lun.to, tnr.v, bwr.to, cs.to, imn.to, ncu.to, tko.to, wrn.to, qux.to, rio, bls.to, tck

This company is in a consolidation pattern - nobody wants it - apart from Chinese giant Tongling, another Chinese investor and Lundin Mining, which is still sniffing around this deposit. Will it be in the end the same "nobody wants time" as we had with other juniors this August? We do not know, but we like the things, which insiders or industry leaders or both are buying. We had a very exciting run after summer napping time in Almaden Minerals, Copper Fox Metals, Goldstone Resources, Sunridge Gold, Avino Silver, Alkane Resources, NGeX Resources, Revett Minerals - to name a few among other companies.

Canada Zinc Metals and TNR Gold are still lagging the performance and they are late to the QE party, but whether it is still a buying opportunity will be decided by the Mr Market in the end, as usual.

What is the common sense in the so different investment situations: when Erick Sprott  buys into Avino Silver, Silver Wheaton buys into Revett Minerals, Lukas Lundin buys into NGeX Resources and invest more to keep its stake in Sunridge Gold, Panasonic buys into Tesla, Tongling buys into Canada Zinc Metals and Nova Gold sells 50% of 1 mil NON 43-101 historical resource of gold at Shotgun for shares of TNR Gold and significantly increase its position in that company? All these situations are common only in one, but very powerful in investment world thing: industry and/or company insiders are buying in. Can they be mistaken - yes, by all means - but we like to follow the "smart" money.

Tongling, apparently, has spent some time and money with one of the leading consultants in the industry on DD before making a decision to increase its stake to over 30% in Canada Zinc Metals. Time will tell you and us, as usual - who is making mistake us or the market in pricing of this M&A situation in Canada with Chinese deep pockets. Catalyst will be:

1. Closing of Tongling financing.
2. Higher zinc and lead prices (QE multiplied by Zinc shortage, according to some reports).
4. New discoveries at the North Lead anomaly.
5. Lukas Lundin involvement.

Lomiko Metals is an interesting company in a sense that nothing is really happening there, which should draw an attention of the investor like Sheldon Inwentash. Actually, the only thing which is happening is that he is increasing his position in the company - maybe sometimes it could be enough to make it a solid story in the very beginning?

"Lomiko investor Inwentash buys two million shares.

PineTree Capital and its founder and CEO Sheldon Inwentash are very well known players amongst junior mining companies in Canada. The company was one of the first to invest in Lithium and REE sector.

Lomiko Metals had its own troubles after JOGMEC canceled its engagement in company's project in Nevada and later that project was drop all together by the company. This announcement shows that maybe there is some juice and ideas left in the Lomiko Metals with its lithium properties in Chile,  Vines Lake Gold project in B.C., Rose and Cunningham Lake Soda ash Property and new investment in Mobile Power Corp. new technologies.
Endorsement from Sheldon Inwentash will make us to run our DD on this company one more time.

Canada Zinc Metals: Canada Zinc closes $18-million private placement with Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holdings Co czx.v, lun.to, tnr.v, bwr.to, cs.to, imn.to, ncu.to, tko.to, wrn.to, qux.to, rio, bls.to, tck

"Today's call - from the World Bank "to debate the return of the Gold Standard" - we are finding just fascinating and it would be unbelievable just a few months ago. We can expect some tree shaking and corrections now in Gold and Silver markets, but they will only provide more buying opportunities to those who seeks ones."
Ireland is a non starter for any serious discussion about reasons for Mr Market depressed mood these few days - just due to the size of its economy - it will be bailed out. There will be no Lehman Brothers any more - insolvent financial system will never recover from another shock. Constant pump of liquidity is the name of the game - all Central Banks have The License to Print now. Real Things will appreciate against all FIAT currencies.
The reason behind the-long-time-due correction in the overheated markets is China and its Inflation. Everybody is rushing to sell today - we will send you back to the 2002, when the previous cycle of Higher Nominal Rates has been started. Study the charts of Gold, Silver, Copper and Zinc for starters - the keys to the commodities super-cycle are real growth in Emerging Markets and Negative Real Rates.    The US Dollar party will be very short lived, even green buck can not take seriously all those talks about QE "not debasing dollar value". Now with "crashing markets" and "non-existing" Inflation in official statistics General Bernanke can chop every tree in the DC area for his QE games, problem will come later when the price of Oil will be too expensive to run his choppers to drop the bucks.
As per Inflation - just jump across the pond - UK is the indicator of things to come after QE and universal bailouts. Inflation there is above 3% and will "stay now at elevated levels throughout 2011" And it is when they have already students on the streets after first austerity measures. Who will dare to try it at home?
Canada Zinc Metals in this sense, is a very interesting indicator with Chinese Tongling taking its stake above 36% in the company during this financing. We guess they have some clues about the real state of the Chinese economy and why do they need one of the world's top zinc deposits in Canada, into which they are buying with premium to the market price.

Mr. Peeyush Varshney reports

CANADA ZINC METALS ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF $18 MILLION PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Further to Canada Zinc Metals Corp.'s news in Stockwatch July 26, 2010, and Oct. 26, 2010, it has received final approvals from the TSX Venture Exchange and the relevant Chinese authorities with respect to the closing of the non-brokered private placement subscribed to by Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holdings Co. Ltd.

Pursuant to the private placement, Tongling has purchased 31,386,224 units of the Company at a price of $0.5735 per unit for gross proceeds of $18,000,000 and now holds a 36.5% equity position in Canada Zinc Metals. Each unit consists of one common share and one half of a common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant entitles Tongling to purchase, at any time within 24 months from closing, one common share of the Company at a price of $0.675 during the first year and at a price of $0.775 during the second year. These units are subject to a hold period expiring on March 17, 2011.

The proceeds of the private placement will be used primarily to fund further exploration and advancement of the Company's Akie zinc-lead property.

"Along with the Akie property, Canada Zinc Metals' significant prospective land package in the Kechika Trough represents a potential long-term district development opportunity", commented Mr. Li Dongqing, Vice-President and Chief Engineer of Tongling. "We look forward to continuing to build our relationship with the Company."

Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holdings Co. Ltd., based in Tongling, Anhui, is a state-owned holding company, and one of China's largest copper smelting companies. Tongling's principal activities are exploration, mining, ore processing, smelting & refining and products processing of copper, lead, zinc, gold, silver and other non-ferrous and rare metals.

Given the nature and size of the strategic investment, the Company has agreed to permit Tongling to appoint up to two nominees as members of the board of directors of Canada Zinc Metals for so long as Tongling maintains an interest of at least 20% of the outstanding common shares of the Company.

Subject to certain conditions, Tongling has agreed to vote its common shares of the Company in support of the board of directors recommended by the management of Canada Zinc Metals until the earlier of 3 years from the date of closing the private placement or the date that Tongling owns at least 50% of the outstanding common shares of the Company.

About the Akie Property

The Akie zinc-lead property is situated within the southern-most part (Kechika Trough) of the regionally extensive Paleozoic Selwyn Basin, one of the most prolific sedimentary basins in the world for the occurrence of SEDEX zinc-lead-silver and stratiform barite deposits.

Drilling on the Akie property by Inmet Mining Corporation during the period 1994 to 1996 and by Canada Zinc Metals since 2005 has identified a significant body of baritic-zinc-lead SEDEX mineralization (Cardiac Creek deposit). The deposit is hosted by variably siliceous, fine grained clastic rocks of the Middle to Late Devonian 'Gunsteel' formation. The Company has outlined a NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource of 23.6 million tonnes grading 7.6% zinc, 1.5% lead and 13.0 g/t silver (at a 5% zinc cut off grade).

Two similar deposits, Cirque and Cirque South Cirque, located some 20 km northwest of Akie and owned under a joint venture by Teck Resources and Korea Zinc, are also hosted by Gunsteel rocks and have a combined geologic inventory in excess of 50 million tonnes (not 43-101 compliant) grading approximately 10% combined zinc + lead.

In addition to the Akie property, Canada Zinc Metals Corp. controls a large contiguous group of claims which comprise the Kechika Regional project. These claims are underlain by geology identical to that on the Akie property (Cardiac Creek deposit) and Cirque. This project includes the 100% owned Mt. Alcock property, which has yielded a historic drill intercept of 8.8 metres grading 9.3% zinc+lead, numerous zinc-lead-barite occurrences, and several regional base metal anomalies."
