Technically US Dollar is very weak: recent mumbling between 86 and 84 levels has formed Bearish Flag with resolution below 82.87.

Barrons has blasted Jim Sinclair and his company Tanzanian Royalty - shorts must be desperate, Gold is positioned itself before the major move with the US Dollar resolution from this pattern.
