Another twist to Lithium story - Electric Bikes! FXI, OIH, OIL, HUI, XAU, GOOG, RIMM, AAPL, AMZN,

Maybe not as posh as this one, but bikes are huge in China and India, Lithium is everywhere. This is what we are looking for: mass market applications affordable for growing monsters with combined populations of 4.5 billion people.

"The 2009 Optibike OB1 is the signature model of award-winning electric bike designer Jim Turner. His 2008 Optibike OB1 landed in the California Academy of Sciences museum touted as "The future of transportation." Built in limited quantities of only 24 per year, OB1 owners become part of an elite club of riders who own the worlds fastest production electric bicycle, but you have to act fast to get one: last years OB1's sold out in only a few months.
The OB1 represents the most advanced cutting edge technology available in a Light Electric Vehicle (LEV). The 2009 OB1 is fully loaded with ultralight carbon fiber components, state of the art GPS navigation, and a fully integrated PDA that displays all of the performance details of the patented Motorized Bottom Bracket (MBB). The lithium ion battery has the highest capacity offered in an electric bicycle, so you can ride for over 2 hours.
Owners also get their choice of 3 custom paint designs from the world class paint artists at Gunslinger Custom Paint that includes flawlessly imbedded hand cut 23ct gold leaf that perfectly matches the 23ct gold plated Motorized Bottom Brackett (MBB). The 2009 Optibike OB1 truly is the gold standard of electric bicycles. "

The Optibike is a very cool bike but very expensive. Take a look at the Pedego Comfort Cruiser for about 20% of the price.
