Roxmark Mines RMK.v: Premier Hardrock Drilling intersects high grade gold at Tenacity 16.86g/t Au across 5.5m. RMK.v, PG.to, HUI, XAU, GDL, GDX

Very impressive Gold intersection. This J/V is getting better and better results, 4 drills are turning fast and Premier Gold PG.to means business here. Past producing region is receiving new Gold Bull market money and model is confirming expectations to become a sizable deposit in Canada.
Roxmark Shareholders RMK.v could relax and enjoy the ride, next step will be first resource estimation and then who knows at what price Premier will be ready to take out another 30% of the project.
So far from our top Picks list for 2009 Suramina Resources SAX.to was acquired by Canada Gold Hunters CGH.to, Chinese Tongling is investing at o.425CAD double the recent market price into Canada Zinc Metals CZX.v, Continuum Resources CNU.v was bought out by Fortuna Silver FVI.v and TNR Gold TNR.v has moved aggressively into Lithium field and acquired properties in Canada.
M&A in the sector will be driving valuations from this still rock bottom levels in Junior mining plays.

THUNDER BAY, ON, April 15 /CNW/ - PREMIER GOLD MINES LIMITED (TSX:PG - News) is pleased to announce that ongoing drilling at the Hardrock Project in Geraldton, Northwestern Ontario continues to return high-grade gold mineralization in the Tenacity Zone, as well as high grade narrow vein mineralization in a deeper target (KL Zone). This drilling suggests that the Tenacity Zone may improve with depth as confirmed by an intersection of 16.86 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) across 5.5 metres (m) in the furthest down-plunge section drilled to date. Additionally, drilling has confirmed high grade gold in a deeper target beneath Tenacity with intersections of 40.1g/t Au across 1.0m and 17.45g/t Au across 1.9m. Highlights of recent Tenacity drilling include:
- Drilling suggests the potential to develop both open pit and
underground resources with apparent improvement in grade and
continuity down-plunge.
- Exploration drilling (three holes) confirmed high grade gold
mineralization within a narrow vein target with intersections in
excess of 17.14 g/t Au ((greater than) 0.50 oz/ton).
Follow-up drilling at Tenacity, as well as the testing of other target areas, is on-going.
"Our success in drilling numerous target sites at Hardrock speaks volumes of the quality of this Project", stated Ewan Downie, President of Premier. "Gold mineralization found over appreciable widths in multiple horizons support our view that a sizeable gold resource will be delineated on the Project".
The Hardrock Project is operated under a joint venture with Roxmark Mines Limited (TSX-V:RMK - News; Premier earning a 70% interest). The Hardrock Project is host to several past-producing mines which collectively produced more than 2.0 Million ounces of gold from the same shallow deposits within 2000 feet (600 metres) of surface from 1938-1968. The mined zones remained open at depth at the time mining ceased and developed historical resources were left in place within the existing mine workings (a qualified person has not done sufficient work to verify the historical resource, the company is not treating the historical resource as a current resource and the historical resource should not be relied upon).

Roxmark Mines RMK.v: Premier PG.to Hardrock Drilling Returns best gold intersection to-date and defines strong gold mineralization at tenacity target.

This is what we like to see in Juniors, leveraged play when J/V partner is not sleeping on the property but very aggressively moving it forward. Premier Gold PG.to with 4 drills on the property is making story moving fast. With Gold surpassing 1000 USD/oz fireworks will be back into Junior camp. Canada, past production and potential for large scale open pit is the main story here, now it is spiced by High Grade intersection which could indicate high grade core to improve economics.
THUNDER BAY, ON, March 20 /CNW/ - PREMIER GOLD MINES LIMITED (TSX:PG) ispleased to announce that ongoing drilling at the Hardrock Project inGeraldton, Northwestern Ontario: 1) has intersected the most significantmineralization to date in the EP-Zone target; 2) has defined a robustgold-bearing zone at the Tenacity target; and 3) demonstrates high-grade goldpotential in the Oreo Zone. This drilling continues to identify significantnear surface (open pit-style) mineralization contained within multiple zonesand continues to confirm high-grade potential proximal to existing mineworkings. Recent highlights include: << - EP-Zone mineralization has been intersected over a minimum strike length of 350 metres (m) with new intersections of up to 2.37 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) across 62.7m. - Tenacity mineralization (open pit and underground target) has returned near surface intersections of up to 4.13 g/t Au across 18.9 m with higher grade mineralization of up to 7.79 g/t Au across 5.5 m. - Oreo drilling proximal to the historic North Zone mine workings continues to intersect high-grade gold mineralization with intersections up to 8.25 g/t Au across 2.0 m. >> Follow-up drilling, as well as testing of new targets, is on-going. "The consistency of drill results to date is remarkable and confirmsmanagement's confidence that this project will develop into a significant goldresource", stated Ewan Downie, President of Premier, "as gold mineralizationhas been intersected in every target tested." EP-ZONE ------- The EP-Zone is comprised of near-surface mineralization proximal to thehistoric North Zone mine workings. Drilling has identified multiple sub-zoneswithin the EP target consisting of the South Limb (SL) and North Limb (NL).Significant mineralization has been intersected over a strike length of 350metres and remains open in all directions. The following tables demonstrate the potential of the EP-Zone,highlighting mineralization within each horizon. These results demonstratecontinuity and grade within the EP-Zone, supporting management's belief thathistoric and new results will be utilized in a NI43-101 compliant resourcecalculation which is expected to be completed in Q4 2009.
The current program at Hardrock is expected to consist of more than50,000 metres of definition and exploration drilling. The Project is operatedunder a joint venture with Roxmark Mines Limited (TSX-V:RMK) (Premier earninga 70% interest). The Hardrock Project is host to several past-producing mineswhich collectively produced more than 2.0 Million ounces of gold from the samedeposits to relatively shallow depths of approximately 2000 feet (600 metres)from 1938-1968. The mined zones remained open at depth at the time miningceased and developed historical resources were left in place within theexisting mine workings (a qualified person has not done sufficient work toverify the historical resource, the company is not treating the historicalresource as a current resource and the historical resource should not berelied upon). Importantly, the Hardrock Project has the potential fordefining several styles of mineralization capable of hosting resources, withgrades and widths similar to many of Ontario's major gold mines including: <<> 2) Broad zones of mineralization with grades averaging 5.0+ g/t Au (Musselwhite) 3) Narrow vein zones with higher gold grades often exceeding 7.0g/t (Red Lake, Pickle Lake) >> Initial drilling with four drills is focusing on delineating both openpit and underground resources with the goal of defining a multi-million ouncegold resource that can be moved quickly towards development (See references tohistorical resources above.). The Project offers development advantages withthe Trans-Canada Highway, Trans-Canada Pipeline, and major power lines runningthrough the center of the property. Significant potential exists fordeveloping resources in several areas including: 1) Open pit-stylemineralization at the site of the original discovery where a resourcecontaining several hundred thousand ounces of gold was partially drilled offby previous operators; 2) Several newer high-grade discoveries have been madethroughout this large property package that have received little to nofollow-up; 3) Resource blocks reported to remain within the mine workings;and, 4) The main mined zones which remain open below the 600m Level.

Roxmark Mines RMK.v: Premier-Roxmark intersect high-grade gold at Hardrock. RMK.v, CDNX, PG.to

THUNDER BAY, ON, Feb. 25 /CNW/ - PREMIER GOLD MINES LIMITED (TSX:PG - News) is pleased to announce that drilling has intersected broad intersections of near-surface mineralization as well as narrow vein high-grade gold in separate target zones on the Hardrock Project in Northwestern Ontario. These gold zones confirm extensions to previously drilled open pit zones, and define the potential to identify significant high-grade mineralization in close proximity to existing mine workings in both the OREO and PIT target areas. These drill targets represent the second and third of several targets currently being tested on the property, and are in addition to the EP-Zone where the companies recently announced intersections of up to 11.8g/t Au across 11.4 meters (see press release dated Feb. 17, 2009). The current program is expected to consist of more than 50,000 metres of definition and exploration drilling leading to NI 43-101 compliant gold resources in 2009.
OREO Zone
---------
The OREO Zone was identified in historic drilling between the two main producing horizons at Hardrock, namely the North Iron Formation and the Porphyry Hill horizons. The historic drilling, testing for mineralization between these horizons returned numerous high-grade intercepts in the area currently being tested. The current program has intersected mineralization in the OREO Zone, in addition to gold mineralization in the Porphyry Hill open pit and beneath the North Zone mine workings as tested with hole OR-02. Highlights include intersections of 6.35 g/t Au across 3.0 metres (m) and 9.95 g/t Au across 1.5 m in the OREO Zone and 13.61 g/t Au across 3.0 m in the North Zone. To date, the OREO Zone has been tested by nine holes with mineralization intersected over a strike length of 150 metres. The mineralized zone remains open in both directions.
Table 1 provides results from the initial three holes drilled to test the OREO and North Zones:

High-Grade E-Zone
-----------------
Drilling in the E-Zone continues to support the Company's goal of identifying narrow vein, high-grade gold mineralization at Hardrock. The E-Zone is located along strike from, and within the same iron formation host rock as, the North Zone deposit from which 2.97 Million tonnes of ore was mined at a grade of 7.54 g/t Au. Initial drilling has identified parallel zones within the E-Zone target highlighted by an intersection of 40.1 g/t (1.17 oz/ton) Au across 1.5 metres (m) in the E-Zone and 1.35 g/t Au across 23.0 m in an eastward step-out in the Porphyry Hill Open Pit Zone.

The Hardrock Project is operated under a joint venture with Roxmark Mines Limited (TSX-V:RMK - News; PG 70%) and is host to several past-producing mines which collectively produced nearly 3.0 Million ounces of gold to relatively shallow depths of approximately 2000 feet (600 metres) from 1938-1968. The mined zones remained open at depth at the time mining ceased and developed historical resources were left in place within the existing mine workings (a qualified person has not done sufficient work to verify the historical resource, the company is not treating the historical resource as a current resource and the historical resource should not be relied upon). Importantly, the Hardrock Project has the potential to host several styles of mineralization capable of hosting resources, with grades and widths similar to many of Ontario's major gold mines including:
1) Open pit-style mineralization with grades exceeding 1.5 g/t Au
(Timmins, Hemlo)
2) Broad zones of mineralization with grades averaging 5.0+ g/t Au
(Musselwhite)
3) Narrow vein zones with higher gold grades often exceeding 7.0g/t
(Red Lake, Pickle Lake)
Ongoing drilling with four drills is focusing on delineating both potential open pit and underground resources with the goal of defining a multi-million ounce gold resource that can be moved quickly towards development (See references to historical resources above). Two drills are currently testing several high-potential exploration targets located on the project area.
The Hardrock Project is located in the heart of the Beardmore-Geraldton Greenstone Belt, a highly prospective high-grade gold district that has seen relatively little exploration over the past several decades. The Project area covers some of the most prospective geology in the region and is host to several past-producing mines and numerous exploration targets in a district that has seen historic production of more than 4.1 Million ounces of gold. The Project offers development advantages with the Trans-Canada Highway, Trans-Canada Pipeline, and hydro power lines running through or near the property. Significant potential exists for developing both open pit and underground resources.
Stephen McGibbon, P. Geo., is the Qualified Person for the information contained in this press release and is a Qualified Person within the meaning of National Instrument 43-101. The assay results contained in this press release are from core samples sent to Activation Laboratories, an accredited mineral analysis laboratory in Thunder Bay, Ontario, for preparation and analysis utilizing both fire assay and screen metallic methods.

Roxmark Mines RMK.v Premier-Roxmark intersects high-grade gold at Hardrock Project - Up to 2870 g/ton (92.27 opt) across 0.30 metres. RMK.v, PG.to,

It is hard to believe that the stocks of Roxmark Mines RMK.v were trading under 0.05CAD just two month ago. Solid story in a solid place with a strong partner - Gold in Canada.

HUNDER BAY, ON, Feb. 17 /CNW/ - PREMIER GOLD MINES LIMITED (TSX:PG - News) is pleased to announce, initial results from drilling in the EP-Zone, one of several targets currently being drilled on the company's Hardrock Project in Northwestern Ontario. This program is expected to consist of more than 50,000 metres of definition and exploration drilling leading to NI 43-101 compliant gold resources in 2009. The Hardrock Project is being operated by Premier under joint venture with Roxmark Mines Limited (TSX-V:RMK - News).
The EP-Zone has been identified as a potential high-grade open pit target in the vicinity of the historic North Zone, from which 2.97 Million tonnes of ore was mined at a grade of 7.54 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au). Initial drilling has identified 3 sub-zones within the EP target consisting of the South Limb, North Limb and HGV horizons. Significant mineralization has been intersected in the first nine holes within all three horizons including 11.83 g/t Au across 11.4 metres (m) in the South Limb, 2.24 g/t Au across 21.0 m in the North Limb, and 2870.00 g/t Au across 0.3 m within the HGV horizon.
The following tables demonstrate the potential of the EP-Zone and include historic results that help to highlight the mineralization within each horizon intersected in limited previous drilling in the area. Note that true widths of the intercepts are estimated at approximately 70% of the intervals provided.

Roxmark Mines RMK.v 2009 update. RMK.v, PG.to, GDX, HUI, XAU, GDL

For us it is an M&A play in gold in Canada. Premier Gold Mines is moving into this historical Gold camp rather steadily, if results to follow Roxmark could become takeover play.
